Faq

1 - How do I install aGesic?

To install aGesic, download the app on your smarphone fromGoogle Play or from App Store. Then with your pc or tablet go to www.agesic.com and register by clicking  HERE. Fill in the fields and click on "Register". Now just click on "Enter aGesic" and add a device answering yes to the appropriate question.

2 - aGesic can be used to check my movements? No, aGesic was designed solely for the safety of workers. Your data movements are displayed by the company only in case of alarm, otherwise they will be destroyed within the following 24 hours.

3 - How much does is to use aGesic?

The installation of aGesic has a cost per device (user) of € 10.00/month. You can try aGesic for free for 30 days with just one device.

4 - How to use the agesic app?

Once you have connected the device to the control panel (web-app), you just launch it and do all alone.

5 - How do I prevent the app from sending alarm when it is not necessary?

Just shake the device. You can also manually turn off the warning if you want with a simple tap.

6 - Do you need special smartphones to make aGesic work? No, aGesic works on any smartphone, equipped with accelerometer, connection data and GPS.

7 - The app doesn’t work well. What can I do? Turn your smartphone off and on again. Then run the app again. If the problem shows up new contact us by phone or email to the addresses you find in the section "contact us" of our website.

8 - I have a company and would like to equip my employees with aGesic, but I am meeting resistance on their part: they fear that mine is nothing more than a subterfuge to check them. What can I do?

You can tell them that the data is displayed only in emergencies; the destruction of the monitoring data takes place after 24 h, except those relating to accidents if necessary.

9 - Is tracking a worker’s movements legal?

Yes, provided that this is done solely to protect their safety and health, and providing them with adequate information on the functioning of the instrument and its purposes, as provided by current legislation (rif. Art. 23 Jobs Act).

10 - I have a contract with the telecommunications service provider that allows me to have a bundle of 1 Gb of data traffic per month. It Enough to make Geosic work?

Yes, aGesic’s data traffic consumption is limited and is absolutely "bearable" for bundles typically offered by telecom service providers.

11 - aGesic also works with a wi-fi connection?

Yes, like all aGesic apps to work it needs an internet connection (a times can do without it: if you want to know more, read the next question). That you wi-fi or data traffic, does not make any difference.

12 - I am in an area not covered by the telephone signal. aGesic is in Can you protect me here?

Yes, it is sufficient to circumscribe the area on the map by registering it as "red zone". For learn more about the "red zones", go to questions 14, 15 and 16.

13 - I am in a safe place, with colleagues. I must disable aGesic?

No, if the place you are in is a "green zone", aGesic knows that you are safe and goes to standby. To learn more about "green zones" go to questions 17,18 and 19.

14 - What is a “red area”?

Through the web control panel you can create "red zones", marking places not reachable by signal coverage or where there are obstacles to the normal operation of the app, and assign a maximum parking time of device within that area.

15 - How does a “red area” work?

From the moment you enter a red zone, your smartphone starts calculating every second past, sending you an alert before the expiration of the preset parking time. Just get out of the affected area and aGesic will know that you are not in danger.

16 - How can I create a “red area”?

Log in on agesic.com. From the control panel follow the instructions you find to follow-up:

  • Find the address on the map by sliding with your hand and zoom
  • After clicking on the arrow to the right of the zone menu, it will open a submenu to drop down. Click on the blue icon next to the "+"
  • An instruction window will open. Click on "ok" to start the search
  • Identify the exact point on the map and click. Using the cursor on the map right of circle circumference select desired extension
  • Once you have identified the exact location click on "save zone" in the top left menu
  • At this point select "zones" from the right drop-down menu, then click on "add zone"
  • Enter the details in the tab that will appear. At the end select "red" for the type of zone and save

17 - What is a “green area“?

Through the web control panel you can create "green zones", marking safe places where you don’t need to use aGesic protection.

18 - Hoe does a “green area” work?

From the moment you enter a green zone, aGesic will automatically go to standby. Ti Just leave the affected area and aGesic will return to work regularly.

19 - How can I create a “green area”?

Log in on agesic.com. From the control panel follow the instructions you find to follow-up:

  • Find the address on the map by sliding with your hand and zoom
